  • built in Copenhagen in 1907 and used as a cargo sailing ship for the Danish merchant marine
  • the trunk deck with a length of over 60 metres is especially suitable for use as main-deck classrooms
  • used for sail training for junior naval staff until 1925
  • this training ship changed owner in 1929 and sailed in the Gustav Erikson fleet delivering grain to Australia until 1939
  • the ship was overhauled in Antwerp in 1946 and subsequently sailed to Australia
  • after Mr. Erikson's death, his son sold the whole fleet
  • the "Viking" was bought by G”teborg in 1949 and used as a moored training ship and houseboat for a navigation school
