  • a bowspritless boat solidly built of oak and pine.
  • spent 27 years fishing the North Atlantic.
  • known as a "highliner", what means that she was the biggest money-maker of all time, the record year was 1934 when she landed fish for about 364,000 dollars.
  • 1953 retired and then refitted.
  • caried passengers on pleasure cruises along the Maine coast from 1954 through 1988.
  • 1988 donated to the Gloucester Adventure Inc. with the provison that "she will continue to be cared for, prominently displayed as a monument to the City of Gloucester and used for the education and pleasure of the public".
  • 1990 was start of an exhaustive reconstruction of the hull which was continued in 1997/98, and finally finnished in 2015 with completion and renovation of the interior
  • return to active sailing as a platform for maritime educational programs, primarily along the New England coast.
