  • replica of the "Dunbrody", a tree masted barque, originally built in Quebec/Canada for the Graves Family of New Ross in 1845, the original "Dunbrody" carried many emigrants to the New World from 1845 to 1870.
  • the new Dunbrody will house an educational exhibition re-enacting the life on board the ship as she carried passengers from New Ross to the US and Canada in the middle of the last century, exhibition is the result of extensive research carried out over severeal years by the Kennedy Trust, using source data which includes material from Dunbrody's ship's box, and original manuscripts including passenger lists.
  • launched in February 2001, will be opened to visitors from May 2001 at the quayside in New Ross.
  • participation in the Tall Ships Race Waterford 2005.
  • maiden international voyage to the port of Milford Haven in Wales in June 2006.
