  • replica of a typical European merchant trader of the turn of the 19th century, hull and rigging similar to those of Spanish explorer's ships used to discover der Californian coast in the late 18th century
  • rigged as a ketch with a topsail, built of steel in 1988
  • sailed Pacific waters, from Hawaii to California
  • long time based in Sausalito, California, and used for private charter, overnite sails, education programs on sail training and history
  • 2004/05 sold and moved to the East coast under new ownership, she replaced the "Larinda" under the new name "Spirit of Larinda", an attraction vessel sunk in Halifax Habour in 2003 after being battered by an Navy vessel that broke loose during hurricane Juan
  • 2006 return with the origin namen to the Pacific coast to Grays Habor City.
