  • built as a private used yacht, designed by Cox & Stevens, famous because she was fast in a lot of races
  • in the 1930s sold to the shipping magnate G. Vettlesen, renamed to "Vema"
  • 1941 the ship went to the US Maritime Commission, start of her reconstruction to a sail training ship, sail training ship for the Merchant Marine cadets
  • sold after the war and reconstruction to a charter vessel
  • 1953 owned by the Columbia University of New York, used to discover the Oceans (removal of her rigging)
  • 1982 started the reconstruction to a cruising ship under sail, she sailed luxury voyages in the Caribbean, preferred area of operation are the the Grenadines.
  • after financial collapse of the operator Windjammer Barefoot Cruises sold at public auction to Angermeyer Cruises, after renovation she offered sailing trips around the Galapagos Islands.
