- she is a former rescue ship built by Polish boat-builders in Puck in 1952, served as a Polish rescue ship for many years.
- 1983 the new owners, Grazyna and Waldemar Heisler rebuilt her into a sailing ship, went on her maiden voyage in 2000, later taking part in the Cutty Sark Tall Ships' Race 2000
- main purpose is to train youngsters in sailing and navigation.
- the name "Bryza" means 'breeze'.
