  • former whaler, built at the Nylands Mekaniske Verksted, Oslo, NOR, in 1926, registered as the "Pol IV" (sister ship of the "Pol II", todays "Artemis").
  • 1949 converted to a freighter in Halmstad, SWE.
  • 1957 lenghtening of the hull by 7,5m.
  • she carried many names in the following years, as a freigher her last name has been the "Alf".
  • 1991 purchased by Dutch owners T. Slurink and G. Veldhuizen, reconstruction and conversion to a barque for cruising with passengers, holding a licence for the Dutch inland waters she sails the Ijsselsea on daytrips based in Kampen, NL, she offers a stylish and luxurious equipment, using a roll reef system enables a crew of only a few person.
  • the name "Stedemaegt" means town maid, Stedemaeght is regarded the patroness of Kampen.
