  • built in 1932/33 as ship for the arctic explorer Knud Rasmussen at the shipyard K. Andersen Skibsvaerft in Frederikssund, DK; registration in Copenhagen, DK.
  • used in expeditions to Greenland, later for film works and after the death of Rasmussen as ship for measurements for the Geodaetisk Institut.
  • several changes of private owners, later got in bad condition and finally sunk in the habour of Nuuk; lifted by the habour captain Knud Erik Möller and repaired to sail her to Arhus, DK.
  • 2008 her importance for the national cultural heritage was certified and funded by the Skibsbevaringsvonden she was restored in 2011; taken over by the association Kivioqs Venner for operation.
  • in Dec 2022 heavyly damaged by a fire on board.
