  • built 1911 at the Øxenbjerg shipyard in Svendborg, DK as the cargo ship "Brita" under sail.
  • used in Sweden for many years.
  • sunk south of the island of Samsø in 1941, lifted and repaired by M.A. fyvbjerg, during the WWII served as a ship for Jewish people to flee from the Nazis to Sweden.
  • used as a stone and wreck fishing platform after the war, finally in poor condition and offered for sale.
  • 1972 purchased by Otto and Jens Leth, beginning of a thorough restoration and restoration as a sailing ship, classified as Danish cultural heritage, renamed "Brita Leth".
  • today used for trips with sailing guests from Svendborg, participation in many regional regattas.
