  • built as a private yacht in 1927, as "Cressida" she has sailed long voyages with her owners and served as base ship for discoveries.
  • reconstruction after the World War II to serve as a cruising ship under sail, owner were the Vanderbuilts, based in Newport Beach in California, renamed "Pioneer".
  • since 1965 sailing trips in the Caribbean managed by Windjammer Barefoot Cruises.
  • after financial collapse of the operator she laid in a shipyard in Tinidad.
