  • is one of three square sailing ships which were managed by the German training ship association "Deutscher Schulschiff-Verein" before World War I, built at the Blohm & Voss shipyard in Hamburg 1908-09, commissioned in 1910, first name was "Prinzess Eitel Friedrich".
  • given to France in 1920 as war reparation, managed by the Navigation School of St.Nazaire, FRA; laid up for 11 years, named the "Colbert" in this time.
  • 1929 bought by the Polish Maritime School with funds raised by people of Pomerania, renamed "Pomorze", repaired in Nakskov, DK; installation of an auxilliary engine, renamed the "Dar Pomorza" (gift from Pomerania) in 1930.
  • 1934/35 voyage to New York, Brazil and South Africa, through the Panama Canal.
  • 1936/37 another voyage around Cape Horn to Tahiti.
  • during World War II the sailing ship was laid up in Sweden and in 1945 she returned to Poland, after this, she mainly sailed in the Atlantic and Mediterranean.
  • 1967 transatlantic voyage to visit the Expo in Montreal, Canada.
  • regular participation in Tall Ships Races from 1972 and winner of the Cutty Sark Trophy in 1980.
  • her last voyage was to Gibraltar and Tenerife in 1981.
  • decommissioned and permanently moored in Gdynia as museum ship managed by the Maritime Museum of Gdansk.
