  • built 1905 in Lemmer/NL at the shipyard of the Van de Boer brothers for freight transport on the Dutch coast, on rivers and inland waters.
  • approx. 1930 removal of the rigging and used as a motor cargo ship until 1972.
  • conversion to a charter ship for passenger trips under sail, initially with 3 masts, which was later changed again.
  • named after the mussel seller and inspector Catharina Mulder (1723-1798) from Rotterdam/NL, who is revered as a folk heroine in the Netherlands.
