- approx. 1930 removal of the rigging and used as a motor cargo ship until 1972.
- conversion to a charter ship for passenger trips under sail, initially with 3 masts, which was later changed again.
- named after the mussel seller and inspector Catharina Mulder (1723-1798) from Rotterdam/NL, who is revered as a folk heroine in the Netherlands.
