  • The roots of the project lie at the Jean Moulin high school in Plouhinec/FRA, where the instructor for ship carpentry Bernard Ficatier began building the ship with apprentices in 2003 as part of their training at the school.
  • construction and drawing by François Vivier based on the local lobster fishing vessels of the beginning of the 20th century.
  • in 2018 the school was closed and the unfinished project was taken by the Centre Nautique de Plouhinec (Nautical Center of Plouhinec) and continued with the help of many volunteers, but also professional boat builders and support from the region of Brittany, the department of Finistère and the municipality of Cap Sizun, the aim of the center is to continue sailing on a traditional ship if the "La Louisette", which is also operated by the center, can no longer be maintained.
  • completion of the hull at the SCOP shipyard in Tréboul/Douarnenez, Les Charpentiers de Cornouaille, transfer back to Plouhinec then, where the equipment and rigging took place.
  • ceremonial launching on April 17, 2022 in Poulgoazec near Audierne and Plouhinec.
