  • built in 1958 at the Keraudren shipyard in Camaret-sur-Mer/FRA for the transport of sand.
  • used from 1975 by the Penn-ar-Bed shipping company to supply the islands of Sein, Molène and Ouessant.
  • decommissioned in 2000.
  • classified as a French Monument Historique (French National Heritage) in 2002, founding of the "Fée de l'Aulne, Fée des Îles" association, which drove the restoration forward, initial work was carried out at the Pacalet de Saint-Quay-Portrieux shipyard, continued from 2012 by Chantier du Guip shipyard in Brest/FRA.
  • participation in the major maritime events in the city of Brest in 2012 and 2016.
