- built by John Francis Reaney in 1925 on the site of what is now the Galway City Museum at the Spanish Arch, Galway, IR.
- first owner was Martin Conroy from Tír an Fhia (engl. Teeranea), Leitir Mór (Lettermore island), used to transport seaweed and for fishing.
- 1927 sold to Michael McDonagh of Rosmuc (engl. Rosmuck), Co. Galway, IR and later sold to Val Clarke, Rosmuc (engl. Rosmuck), Co. Galway, IR; fitted with a 13 hp Lister inboard engine in 1978.
- change of ownership: Páraic McDonnacha of Doirín na nGlas (engl. Derreenglass), Leitir Móir (Lettermore island).
- 1983 sold to Páraic Hanniffy of Maree, Co. Galway, IR; renamed the "Sorcha Mairéad", removal of the engine, rigged with a gaff rig, participation in Galway Hooker regattas.
- 2009 purchased by Nicholas Dolan of Claddagh Quay, Galway City, IR.
- given to the Port of Galway Sea Scouts in September 2012, after some sailing trips with the Sea Scouts the boat was laid up for a number of years.
- 2019-2021 a funding enabled the complete rebuild of the "Loveen" by the Hernon family alongside more than 100 volunteers from the Galway Hooker Sailing Club.
- used for Sail Training in Galway Hooker Sailing Club and for the Port of Galway Sea Scouts.
- participated in the 2024 Brest Maritime Festival.
